Evaluating Prosthetic Misfit and Bone Loss Around Implants
Dr. Chandur Wadhwani, along with Drs. Kevin Lin, Arun Sharma, and Frederick Finzen conducted a study on prosthetic misfit and bone loss around implants. In this article published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, radiograph positioning techniques are explored. They find that by fitting the device to a conventional film holder, accurate orthogonal radiographs can monitor changes in bone architecture and prosthetic misfit.
